On to Precious Metal Clay Jewelry

Well I've switched to metal clay, freshwater pearls and crystals!  I will post photos.  Metal clay is one of the most wonderful and exciting mediums I've known.  I love the malleable characteristics of the clay.  Unlike silver sheet, silver clay is artist friendly, however, the costs are rather high comparable to silver sheet work.  The clay is available in bronze, copper, steel, sterling silver and, of course, gold. The two pieces of jewelry I have just designed and completed are two custom pieces and if I might say so, very attractive and winsome.  Take a look.

Jewelry delivered

After a quick and fun week with my family from California and South Carolina,I delivered the new jewelry display and it is in place at the new shop in Gatlinburg. I would like more catchy display props, but I used what I had at the time. I'm looking for more small display props, not necessarily traditional jewelry display props, but interesting pieces to display and use as a prop in a jewelry case. The proprietor wanted, especially the Precious metal clay pieces in a case. I also gave her a chevron polymer clay pendant, but the neck piece was a bit close fitting, so I will adjust the neck piece for her. She was pleased with the display.

New Pieces

I have been working very hard in Precious metal clay and polymer clay to create new pieces. I have a few photos to share. I have more ideas and sketches than I can ever produce. But it's OK to dream and hope and plan.
